DID YOU KNOW?
Every 7 minutes someone in Canada dies from heart disease, and South Asians are at a risk higher than any other ethnic group in the country.
SANSAR, the South Asian Network Supporting Awareness & Research, is a non-profit organization that is committed to promoting cardiovascular health for the South Asian population through community awareness, research, education and clinical initiatives.
Some of the free programs that we offer include the South Asian Cardiovascular Risk Assessment Clinic, the Mera Dil (My Heart) Risk Management classes and the BREATHE smoking cessation counselling.
